GREENVILLE, S.C. - No, it's not déjà vu. For the second time this fall (September 7th), Ana Egge (Rapid City, S.D./Rapid City Christian) and Morgan Philyaw (Jordan, Minn./Jordan) have been named National Christian College Athletic Association Student-Athletes of the Week on the same day. Egge is the recipient of the NCCAA DI Women's Volleyball Offensive Student-Athlete of the Week award, while Philyaw claims the honor for Women's Golf.

Egge's award is the second for her both this season and in her career. The junior sat out the North Central match before making her conference debut at UW-Superior on Friday, where she dominated with 21 kills (7.00 per set) on .452 hitting in a sweep. Her 4.89 kills per set rank second in NCAA Division III and first in NCCAA DI. Her 21 kills against UWS marked the third time she has reached that number this season.

Philyaw was just as dominant at the Midwest Region Classic, taking second place with a two-day score of +2 and leading the Eagles to a third-place finish as a team in a field of 35 teams and 198 players. The three-time NCCAA All-American tied the program record she already owned a share of with an even-par 72 on Friday, before wrapping up the tournament with a final-round 74 (+2) on Saturday. Northwestern has now won the Women's Golf honor three times this season, with this week serving as Philyaw's second of the season and the eighth of her legendary career.
