The Eagles' softball all-time winningest coach will now oversee all athletic facilities, which will include the scheduling, renting, maintenance, and upgrades of all UNW indoor and outdoor athletic facilities. In addition to leading the Eagle softball program, Coach du'Monceaux has also been serving the UNW Athletic Department as the Athletic Facilities Rental Manager. du'Monceaux will keep all of her current duties in addition to the duties that accompany her new role.

Dr. Matt Hill is thrilled to see Coach du'Monceaux in her new role. "Alicia's expanded role is perfect for her and UNW Athletics", Dr. Hill said. "She has done a great job as our rental manager and now will be expanding those responsibilities. Her longevity, knowledge of college athletics, and desire to serve others will continue to be a huge asset for the Eagles!"

Danae Widbin has been named the Assistant Athletic Director for Business Operations and Student Services. Danae, who has served as the Athletics Office Manager for the past year, will continue her many duties in addition to adding this new role. In her new role, Danae will run the Eagle Success Program, which is an academic success program available to all incoming student athletes.  Danae will also take the responsibility of championing workflow systems for the various areas of athletic operations, including (but not limited to) managing rosters, schedules, conference and NCAA documents, etc.

Dr. Matt Hill has been impressed with how quickly Danae has made a positive impact on UNW Athletics and is excited for the future in her new role. "Danae has proven in a short time how valuable she is to the daily functions of the athletic department", Dr. Hill said.
