GREENVILLE, S.C. - Saturday afternoon, the National Christian College Athletic Association announced the seeds and pairings for its upcoming DI Women's Basketball Championship, set to tip off Wednesday, March 19th in Point Lookout, Missouri. The University of Northwestern has been awarded the No. 7 seed and will play its quarterfinal game at 5:15 PM CT on Wednesday against the College of the Ozarks, who is hosting the event.

Wednesday's meeting between Northwestern (18-9) and Ozarks (20-11) will be the second-ever, with the first coming in the 2022 NCCAA National Tournament. C of O won that game by a 62-53 score, overcoming a 17-8 lead by UNW through one quarter. Four current Eagle seniors played in that game:
Lexi Hagen (Jordan, Minn./Jordan) (who scored eight first-quarter points),
Jasmine Sondrol (Grand Forks, N.D./Red River),
Grace Landvik (Roseville, Minn./Concordia Academy) and
Taylor Christenson (Maple Grove, Minn./Heritage Christian Academy), who started in the game. Northwestern assistant coach
Megan McGeough was the game's leading scorer with 20 points.
The Bobcats are coming off a loss to Hastings College in the opening round of the NAIA National Tournament, while the Eagles' last outing was a UMAC Championship Game loss at UW-Superior. The winner of Wednesday's quarterfinal will play on Thursday at 5:15 PM, while the loser will play at 10:15 AM on Thursday.
