ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference released its Athlete of the Week winners Tuesday morning, and the University of Northwestern once again had multiple recipients included. Jayden Goodwin (New Richmond, Wis./Saint Croix Central) was awarded UMAC Football Defensive Player of the Week, while Addeson Jenniges (Walnut Grove, Minn./Westbrook-Walnut Grove) was once again named UMAC Volleyball Setter of the Week.

Goodwin's honor is the fourth of his career, as he has won it one time in each of his four years at Northwestern. The linebacker made 10 tackles in UNW's win over first-place Crown, adding 2.0 tackles-for-loss and a highlight-reel interception. Saturday's performance came on the heels of another strong showing the week before, where the senior made eight tackles, 3.0 for loss, and added another pick.

Jenniges adds her sixth Setter of the Week award this season and her fourth in as many weeks after another outstanding week. The sophomore helped lead the Eagles to three conference sweeps with 83 assists (9.22 per set), showing consistency with 28, 28 and 27 in the three matches. The Walnut Grove native also totaled 15 digs, 3 blocks and 1 ace on the week, and leads the UMAC in assists per set at 10.44. She is also top 10 in NCAA Division III in assists per set.
