ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Midwest Lacrosse Conference and Upper Midwest Lacrosse Conference announced their Players of the Week on Monday with Ryan Adkins (St. Michael, Minn./St. Michael-Albertville), Annie Orvis (Rochester, Minn/Schaeffer Academy), and Stewart Morrell (Elk River, Minn./Homeschool) earning conference honors for UNW. With these awards, the Eagles have earned 53 Conference Player of the Week honors during the 2022-23 athletic year.

Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week

• Ryan Adkins (St. Michael, Minn./St. Michael-Albertville)
  • Was 10-11 on faceoffs in Saturday's 10-6 win over Cornell to open league play. 
  • He added a goal and one ground ball.

Women's Tennis North Division Player of the Week

• Annie Orvis (Rochester, Minn/Schaeffer Academy)
  • Won all 4 matches both at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles over the weekend.
  • Helped lead the Eagles to wins over Bethany Lutheran and Martin Luther.

Men's Tennis North Division Player of the Week

• Stewart Morrell (Elk River, Minn./Homeschool)
  • Won 5 of his 6 matches last week playing as No. 1 singles and No. 2 doubles.
  • Morrell won 2 matches at No. 1 singles and 3 matches at No. 2 doubles.
