ST. PAUL, Minn. – D3hoops.com announced their regional basketball awards on Tuesday and
Lexi Hagen (Jordan, Minn./Jordan) of University of Northwestern Women's Basketball was recognized. The sophomore earned D3hoops Third Team All-Region honors.
This past season, the UNW sophomore led the Eagles with 351 points scored and 14.0 points per game while shooting 40.3 percent from the field and 32.9 percent from three-point range. She also led UNW in rebounds with 142 total and 7.1 per game.
Hagen helped lead Northwestern to a 13-1 record in the UMAC. The Eagles won both the conference regular season and postseason tournament championships and made their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2014.
In addition to the D3hoops All-Region award, Hagen has earned NCCAA Regional Player of the Year, NCCAA All-Region Team, UMAC Player of the Year, and UMAC First Team All-Conference honors this season.
