ST. PAUL, MINN. – The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) released their preseason coaches' poll on Thursday afternoon, where the UNW women's basketball team was voted to finish fourth. The Eagles come off a solid 2018-19 campaign where they tallied a 10-6 UMAC record, but were cut short in the UMAC tournament semifinal round with a loss to Wisconsin-Superior. Northwestern received 45 points, falling behind Minnesota Morris, Wisconsin-Superior and Bethany Lutheran who was picked to finish atop the UMAC with five first place votes and 60 points.

Need to Know
Coach Kahl enters his 10th season as the women's head coach. The Eagles only lose two seniors and return with a veteran squad.
