ST. PAUL – The University of Northwestern women's basketball team (23-6) will look to pull off back-to-back upsets, as the sixth-seeded Eagles will take on No. 2 Roberts Wesleyan College (27-7) – a Division II institution in Rochester, N.Y. – Thursday afternoon in the semifinal round of the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Tournament. Tip-off in Winona Lake, Ind., from the campus of Grace College is set for 2:30 p.m. (CT).

Amy Berglund (Springfield, Va./West Springfield) scored a game-high 17 points, including a 9-for-12 effort at the line.
Regan Cooper (Pella, Iowa/Pella) posted her third double-double of the year, netting 15 points and grabbing 11 rebounds.
UNW put together a strong run in Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) regular season play, compiling a 14-2 record to earn the No. 2 seed in the conference tournament. Northwestern fell to the top-seeded University of Wisconsin-Yellowjackets in the tournament final.

Regan Cooper (Pella, Iowa/Pella) (Second Team) and
Jessica Cole (Altoona, Iowa/Southeast Polk) (Honorable Mention) were all recognized in the conference postseason awards release.
Berglund is averaging a team-high 12.3 points per game, while shooting nearly 50 percent from the floor. For her efforts this season, she was named the NCCAA North Central Region Player of Year and selected to the first team of the release. Cooper was also a first team honoree, while junior
Tiffany Stubbs (Ames, Iowa/Des Moines Christian) was named NCCAA North Central Region Honorable Mention. Head coach
Aaron Kahl – now in his sixth year at the helm – was recognized for his success as he took home his second-straight North Central Region Coach of the Year award.
The Redhawks advanced to the semifinals by defeating Bethesda 77-68 Wednesday. Samantha Courtney, who leads Robert Wesleyan with her 16.3 points per game average, tossed in 23 points to lead all scorers, while Ajia McIntyre added 19 points. Fans can read more on the Redhawks

This will be the second all-time meeting between the two schools, as Northwestern defeated RWC 81-70 during the 1994-95 season.
