St. PAUL -- The Northwestern College men's soccer team is still searching for its first win of the season after losing 2-0 to the University of St. Thomas Tuesday afternoon.

St. Thomas outshot NWC 25-1 and kept the Eagles from posting a shot on goal. The Tommies also owned the advantage in corner kicks, tallying five in comparison to Northwestern's zero.

After giving up 16 shots in the first 45 minutes of play, the Eagles showed defensive improvement in the second half, decreasing the number of attacks to nine.
