Box Score DULUTH, Minn. – Northwestern College was on the short side of a 1-0 score on Saturday as the College of St. Scholastica defeated the Eagles on their home turf.  The Saints' Erik Trochimchuk had the game's only goal as he found the back of the net in the 50th minute.

Northwestern got three shots off in the game, two of which were on goal.  The Eagles played a man down for the last 35 minutes after a NWC player earned a red card, which hurt the Purple & Gold's chances to score.

The loss moved Northwestern to 9-8-2 overall and 8-3-1 in UMAC play, giving the Eagles the third seed in next week's conference tournament.  NWC will play at second-seeded University of Minnesota Morris on Tuesday with a kickoff time scheduled for 2 p.m.
