ST. PAUL, Minn. - Add two more University of Northwestern student-athletes to the list of Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week award winners for the 2025-26 school year. After successful weekends on the field and court, Dreyer Homan (Clara City, Minn./MACCRAY) and Sarah Langridge (Savage, Minn./Prior Lake) earned the nod on Tuesday morning.

Homan, the UMAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week, pitched another gem in his third-career start on the mound to lead UNW to a 5-1 win over North Central to open the conference season. The senior struck out nine batters in seven innings, surrendering just five hits and one run. He now has 30 strikeouts on the season, which ranks second in the conference.

Langridge's outstanding Saturday earned her the UMAC Women's Tennis North Division Athlete of the Week award. The freshman went 3-1 in a pair of team matches, including securing Northwestern's only point against Wartburg with a 4-6, 7-5, 10-8, come-from-behind win at No. 2 singles. Against Martin Luther, she moved up to No. 1 singles and won 6-3, 6-4, adding a 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles as well.
