GREENWOOD, Ind. – This week, College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its Academic All-District Baseball Teams, honoring the nation's top student-athletes for their combined achievements in athletics and academics. The CSC Academic All-America® program recognizes outstanding student-athletes across four divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA. The University of Northwestern earned the maximum five selections to the NCAA Division III Academic All-District Team in
Mark Bligh (Sydney, Australia/Magdalene Catholic College),
Nick Drinken (Randolph, Minn./Randolph),
Ben Hixon (Yorkville, Ill./Yorkville),
Dreyer Homan (Clara City, Minn./MACCRAY) and
Aaron Severson (Columbia Heights, Minn./Columbia Heights). Drinken was also named a finalist for the CSC Academic All-America ballot, which will be voted on by CSC members in the coming weeks.
