WINONA, Minn. – University of Northwestern Women's Tennis took on University of Wisconsin-La Crosse on Wednesday in a non-conference match. The UNW Eagles fell 9-0 to the UWL Eagles.
La Crosse won the opening three doubles matches, starting with the #1 match 8-0. They then won #3 doubles 8-3. UWL closed out doubles with an 8-3 win at the #2 match.
In singles, La Crosse earned a fourth team point in the #3 match, winning 6-3, 6-2. UWL clinched the match with a 7-5, 6-1 win at #1 singles.
Up next, Northwestern will take on Bethany Lutheran College and Martin Luther College on Sunday, April 2 starting at 1:30 p.m. at the Swanson Tennis Center in St. Peter.
