MINNEAPOLIS – University of Northwestern Women's Tennis traveled over to Baseline Tennis Center in Minneapolis for their second match of the season, taking on Macalester College. The doubles duo of
Elise Jarchow (Luverne, Minn./Luverne) and
Analise Marquardt (Parkers Prairie, Minn./Parkers Prairie) picked up a win, but the Eagles fell 8-1 to the Scots.
In doubles, the Scots took the #1 match 8-4 and the #3 match 8-3. Jarchow and Marquardt picked up the #2 match for Northwestern in an 8-4 victory.
The Eagles struggled in singles against the Scots as Macalester won each of them to take the match 8-1.
Up next, Northwestern will head to Life Time Fitness in White Bear Lake on Friday, February 17 for a match against Saint Mary's University.
