MOUNT VERNON, Iowa- #5 University of Northwestern Volleyball erased a 2-0 deficit in their Sweet Sixteen match against #4 Wisconsin-Whitewater. The Eagles pulled off a "reverse sweep" to win 3-2 over the Warhawks. The Eagles won the Cornell College Regional and advanced to the NCAA Division III Elite Eight for the second consecutive season.
Marylyn Schroyer (Ft. Collins, Colo./Ft. Collins),
Abby Glanzer (Brandon, S.D./Sioux Falls Christian), and
Marley Aune (New Brighton, Minn./Avail Academy) were named to the All-Tournament team for their performances in the three NCAA Tournament games. Glanzer was named Tournament MVP.

The Eagles advance to the Elite Eight for the third time in program history after a truly epic match in which they were down to their last breath facing a match point multiple times in both the third and fourth sets.
