ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn.- The University of Northwestern Men's Soccer team played on the road for the second time in three days on Saturday afternoon when they traveled to Crown College to take on the Polars. Despite defeating the Polars earlier this season, the Eagles dropped the contest 3-1.

In the 42
nd minute, right before the half, the Eagles began to attempt to mount a comeback.

Alejandro Alfaro (Murrieta, Calif./Vista Murrieta) and the Eagles cut the Polars' lead to 3-1. However, UNW was not able to cut into the lead any further, and there were no goals scored from either side in the second half as the game ended 3-1 in favor of Crown.
The Eagles outshot the Polars 12-9 in the contest including tallying 8 shots on goal to the 6 shots on goal by Crown.
