MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The University of Northwestern St. Paul Women's Tennis team fell to the St. Catherine University Wildcats on Monday evening 9-0.
The match opened with the doubles competition. The Eagles won three games each at #2 and #3 doubles, but the Wildcats won the matches to go up 3-0.
In singles, St. Kate's got the decisive fifth point with a 6-1, 6-1 win at the #2 match.
Up next for Northwestern is a conference match with Martin Luther College. The Eagles host the Knights on Friday, April 23, at 6pm.
