The Eagles move to 11-7 overall and 7-2 in the UMAC, while Northland falls to 5-11 overall and 3-6 in the UMAC.
Northwestern started the scoring right away and would keep the lead the entire game. Northland never had a lead on the Eagles, but would tie the game a few times early on in the first quarter. UNW would stretch their lead with a
Courtney Schmidt (Spring Valley, Minn./Kingsland) fast break layup.
The Eagles' tough defense would keep Northland to minimal points, while offensively making things happen and scoring often. In the second quarter, the Jills would come within five of the Eagles, but their hope would soon disappear with a

Kelsea Lund (Madison, Minn./La qui Parle Valley) score.
The Eagles led at the half, 40-31.
