ST. BONIFACIUS , Minn. – No. 25 University of Northwestern (9-4, 4-0 UMAC) continued Upper Midwest Athletic Conference play with two straight-set wins over North Central and Crown College on Tuesday. Northwestern is undefeated in all-time play with North Central, 36-0. The Eagles are 60-2 in all-time records against Crown.

Northwestern scored 52 points to North Central's 22 in the three-set contest on neutral territory Tuesday evening.
The Eagles were led offensively by
Jenay Fuglestad (Maple Grove, Minn./Heritage Christian) and
Peyton Wright (Littleton, Colo./Parker), who recorded 11 and eight kills on the evening.
Kalley Schwitters (Clara City, Minn./Central Minnesota Christian) and
Kaelyn Kilbo (Delano, Minn./Delano) shared the setting responsibilities, dishing out 23 and 14 assists respectively. Kilbo also added 11 digs and two service aces in the match, marking her first double-double this season.
North Central moves to 3-10 overall, 0-4 in conference play following Tuesday action.
UNW 3, Crown 0 (25-8, 25-11 25-15)
The Eagles hit .416 as a team and committed just 10 errors to secure a quick, three-set victory Tuesday evening at Crown's home court.
Jenay Fuglestad (Maple Grove, Minn./Heritage Christian) and
Kalley Schwitters (Clara City, Minn./Central Minnesota Christian) led the Eagles' offense, tacking on 14 and 10 kills respectively. Several Northwestern players recorded impressive hitting percentages as freshman
Hope Kapelke (Ft. Atkinson, Wisc./Ft. Atkinson) led the way, recording six kills in just nine attempts for a .667 average.
Jackie Timm (Iowa Falls, Iowa/Iowa Falls) posted five kills on eight attempts to hit .625.
Sydney Schwitters (Clara City, Minn./MACCRAY) dished out 38 assists in the quick three-setter and added 12 digs, her sixth double-double this season.
Freya Hanson (Otsego, Minn./St. Michael-Albertville) led the Eagles on the defensive end, coming up with 12 digs from the libero position.
Anna Gasch (Waverly, Iowa/Waverly-Shell Rock) had a team-high three blocks.
The Storm falls to 1-12 overall, 1-3 in UMAC action.
