MOORHEAD, MINN. – The University of Northwestern men's soccer team went on the road to take on Concordia-Moorhead (7-8-0, 1-6-0 MIAC) Thursday evening. The Eagles would fall by a final score of 4-0 to the Cobbers, moving their record to 4-11-1 overall and remain at 2-6-1 in Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) games.
The first half was quiet for both teams. The Eagles were able to tally three shots to the Cobbers eight, but neither team was able to find the back of the net. The score was 0-0 entering halftime.
Concordia was able to take over in the second half. The Cobbers would out shoot the Eagles 6-2, and score four unanswered goals. Northwestern was unable to notch a goal of their own, and Concordia-Moorhead would hold on to their 4-0 lead for the full 90 minutes.
