ST. PAUL, MINN. – The University of Northwestern men's soccer team hosted the University of St. Thomas Tommies Friday evening. The Tommies (10-3-1, 4-2-1 MIAC) were able to top the Eagles 4-0. With the loss, Northwestern moves to 4-9-1 overall and remain at 2-5-1 in Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) play.
St. Thomas was in control in the first half, outshooting UNW 14-1. The Tommies were able to capitalize on their shots, and scored a goal less than 15 minutes into the game. They held a 1-0 lead entering intermission.
The Tommies continued their offense in the second half, again outshooting the Eagles 17-2. Northwestern allowed three more goals in the final 30 minutes of play, to bring the final score to 4-0. Goalkeeper,
