ST. PAUL – The University of Northwestern women's basketball team moved to 10-4 in Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) play with a 62-50 win over Crown College (1-22, 0-14) on Senior Day Saturday inside the Ericsken Center. The Eagles better their overall mark to 15-8.

UNW built a 34-21 lead heading into the break and used a 21-point fourth quarter to down the visitors.

She also pulled down eight boards, dished out three assists and swiped two steals. Andrea Zimpel (Isle, Minn./Isle) found her stroke from long range, knocking down 4-of-5 3-point attempts en route to finishing with 16 points. Taryn Tumbleson (Sherburn, Minn./Martin County West) was strong on the glass, grabbing nine rebounds.
