Beau Walter (Conway, Ark./Conway) was a force on the defensive line this season for UNW, finishing with 53 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks. He started all 10 games on the defensive line for UNW.
Gideon Burnham (Alexandria, Minn./Jefferson) created havoc off the edge for opponents, posting six sacks and 63 total tackles. The Alexandria native led UNW's strong defense with 13 tackles for loss.
Austin Stubbs (Pleasant Hill, Iowa/Des Moines Christian) was a lockdown corner this season on the outside, matching up against the top wide receiver on Saturdays. He came up with a pair of interceptions – including a pick-six – in UNW's conference-clinching win at Eureka.
Nick Swore (Grand Rapids, Mich./Northpointe Christian) was all over the field for the Eagles in his second season in the Purple and Gold. Swore played both linebacker and safety this fall, notching 44 tackles including seven tackles for loss. Swore also came up with three picks in the defensive backfield.

Benjamin Johnson (Camarillo, Calif./Oaks Christian) helped UNW's defense hold opponents to just 11.80 points per game. His strong pass rush off the edge led to Johnson racking up a team-high 6.5 sacks. He also recorded 11 tackles for loss en route to being in on 46 stops.
Ben Greener (Foley, Minn./Home School) was the Eagles' lead in the middle of defense, posting a team-high 110 tackles from his middle linebacker spot. It is the second consecutive year the Foley native has received all-conference recognition. He was responsible for four tackles for loss and a pair of sacks.
Kyle Anenson (Chanhassen, Minn./Chanhassen) was a sparkplug on special teams this season. He averaged over 29 yards per kickoff return and brought the opening kickoff against Martin Luther to the house. For his three-touchdown effort against MLC, Anenson was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week.
