ST. PAUL – The University of Northwestern volleyball team will host its annual "Cause Night" on Wednesday when they host Bethel inside the Ericksen Center at 7 p.m. This year's event will raise money for Preemptive Love Coalition – a group that organizes heart surgeries for kids in Iraq who are suffering birth defects from the chemical warfare in the region.

UNW is coming off a weekend in which they went 2-2 at its own tournament. After falling to No. 23 Coe and Dominican (receiving votes) Friday night, the Eagles bounced back and picked up a pair of huge wins over Loras and then-ranked No. 20 Augsburg Auggies. For their weekend efforts, sophomores
Lindsey Peterson (Sheffield, Iowa/West Fork) and
Jackie Foster (Charles City, Iowa/Charles City) were selected to the 10-member All-Tournament team.
