Box Score MANKATO, Minn. – Northwestern College extended its winning streak to 15 matches on Saturday with a quick 3-0 (25-10, 25-14, 25-17) defeat of Bethany Lutheran College. With the victory, the Eagles improved to 21-2 overall and have won all nine of their Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) contests.
Cari Miller (West Des Moines, Iowa/Valley) (West Des Moines, Iowa/Des Moines Christian) and
Greta King (Willmar, Minn./Willmar) (Willmar, Minn./Willmar) both turned in stellar performances, earning 12 and 11 kills on the day. Miller posted a .571 attacking percentage while King was right behind her with a .333 hitting rate.
Krista Stoltz (Lino Lakes, Minn./Centennial) (Lino Lakes, Minn./Centennial) one-upped her 32-assist mark from Friday night's match at Martin Luther, turning in 40 assists on Saturday to average 12.0 assists for the week, as NWC hit .379 against Bethany Lutheran. Northwestern finished with 45 kills, doubling the Vikings' 22.

Lexi Bertsch (Andover, Minn./Meadow Creek Christian) (Andover, Minn./Meadow Creek) posted a match-high 14 digs while the Eagles held Bethany to a .075 attacking percentage.
NWC will take the remainder of the weekend off before returning to the practice court to prepare for three matches next Friday and Saturday, October 21 and 22. The Eagles will host the University of Minnesota Morris and the University of Wisconsin Stout on Friday at 5:30 and approximately 8:30 p.m. before turning around and welcoming Presentation College to the Ericksen Center for a 1 p.m. match on Saturday.
