ST. Elissa Sandstrom (Cloquet, Minn./Carlton) (Cloquet, Minn./Carlton), fresh off of earning the 1,000th kill of her career on Wednesday afternoon, had an outstanding night on the court, tallying 13 kills on 22 attempts to maintain a .591 mark with no errors. Greta King (Willmar, Minn./Willmar) (Willmar, Minn./Willmar) added nine kills, while Chelsea Koth (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing) (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing) chipped in seven kills.

Sandstrom had three blocks for the Eagles, who compiled four blocks as a team.  Kelsey Korporal (Sumner, Iowa/Sumner-Fredericksburg) (Sumner, Iowa/Sumner-Fredericksburg) had a match-high 11 digs.

Northwestern, now 24-11 overall (11-2 UMAC), will get some rest before playing back-to-back matches on Saturday afternoon. The Eagles will first play their final conference match of the season against the College of St. Scholastica, who won the UMAC regular season championship outright on Friday, at 1 p.m. before hosting Augsburg College at 3 p.m. Both matches will take place in the Ericksen Center on Northwestern's campus.
