The Eagles out-shot the Knights 17-9 in the game but couldn't get past Martin Luther's Benjamin Zietlow, who recorded 12 saves between the pipes. On the other side of the field, Josh Niedermayer (Oconomowoc, Wis./Kettle Moraine) (Oconomowoc, Wis./Kettle Morraine) posted five saves for Northwestern.

Heading into Tuesday's 3:30 p.m. game at Crown College, the Eagles are currently third in the UMAC standings behind the College of St. Scholastica and the University of Minnesota, Morris.
