Men's Soccer settles with Martin Luther at 0-0

Box Score

NEW ULM, Minn. -- The Northwestern College men's soccer team couldn't come to a winning score in its battle with Martin Luther College on Saturday as the teams leveled at a 0-0 double-overtime final score.

Despite Northwestern owning a 24-7 advantage in shots, the Eagles couldn't put the ball in the back of the net. Neither team had a corner kick throughout the entire 110 minutes of play.

Danny King (Willmar, MN/Willmar High School) (Willmar, Minn./Willmar) had one save in the game for a shutout on his end.

Northwestern (3-7-1, 3-2-1 UMAC) will take a week off from its game schedule before hosting Presentation College next Friday, Oct. 9 at Reynolds Field. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m.
