Josh Kimball is entering his 5th season as an assistant coach for the University of Northwestern Men's and Women's Tennis programs in 2025.
Coach Kimball graduated from Northwestern in 2018. He joined the Eagle coaching staff after he completed a remarkable playing career in 2018. Kimball was an extremely decorated athlete during his time at Northwestern. Kimball was a senior and a key contributor on the 2018 team that won the UMAC Conference Tournament and appeared in the NCAA National Tournament. Kimball was also named the Eagle Award recipient by the Northwestern Athletic Department in 2018. Kimball was a high quality player having been named to the All-Conference team four times, and was a high-quality teammate, having been named the UMAC Sportsmanship Award winner four times as well.
Coach Kimball has had much success in his seasons on the coaching staff as he has helped guide the Women's Tennis team to back to back Regular Season UMAC Championships and UMAC Tournament Championships in 2021, 2022, and 2023.
Coach Kimball currently resides in Roseville.
