Bryan Johnson

Bryan Johnson will be entering his 29th season in 2023 with UNW's football program and currently serves as the assistant head coach/running backs coach.

During his time at UNW, he has helped guide the Eagles to eight conference championships and seven appearances in the NCCAA Victory Bowl. The Eagles have also made two appearances in the NCAA tournament in 2016 and 2022. Coach Johnson has also helped coached countless All-Americans. He is a former AFLAC Assistant Coach of the Year winner. Along with his role on the football team, he also teaches fly fishing, golf, fitness, and coaching classes in the Kinesiology department at UNW. 

Coach Johnson is a Bethel University alum and a member of the Bethel football Hall of Fame. Before UNW, he served as the offensive coordinator at Bethel and the tight ends coach at Montana State University. He currently is an elder at River of Life Church in Shoreview, Minn. 

Coach Johnson currently resides in Shoreview, MN with his wife, Janet and two sons, Levi and Noah.
