ST. PAUL, Minn. - A pair of University of Northwestern student-athletes have repeated as Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Athletes of the Week, with one of them doing so for a third-consecutive week.

Natalie Van De Riet (Albertville, Minn./St. Michael-Albertville) is a back-to-back recipient of the UMAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week award after nearly breaking a program record in the 6k at the Toni St. Pierre Invitational. The senior took sixth place in a loaded field with a time of 22:46.2, just seven seconds off the record and a full minute faster than her previous best.

Ana Egge (Rapid City, S.D./Rapid City Christian) has now won the UMAC Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week honor all three weeks of the 2026 season, and for good reason. The junior outside hitter led the Eagles to a 2-1 record at the St. Kate's Quad, including an upset sweep over No. 7 Juniata and a tight match with No. 1 UW-Oshkosh in which the Eagles lost the three sets by a combined seven points. In Wednesday's win at St. Kate's, Egge logged 21 kills and 10 digs, one of two double-doubles on the week, where she finished with 48 kills (4.8 per set), 27 digs and a pair of aces.
