GREENVILLE, S.C. - For the second week in a row, the top women's golfer in the National Christian College Athletic Association belongs to the University of Northwestern. Brandt, a first-time winner of the award, earned it by firing a 74 (+2) and taking medalist honors at the UMAC Preview, tying her career-low. The reigning UMAC Rookie of the Year shot a one-under 35 on the front nine after birdieing the second hole and eagling the fifth, and ultimately led the Eagles to their third team win in three events with a score of 316 (+28). Northwestern has won the award both weeks it's been eligible in 2026, with Morgan Philyaw (Jordan, Minn./Jordan) winning last week.

Brandt and the Eagles will be back in action Friday and Saturday at the Twin Ports Collegiate in Superior, Wisconsin. She will also be appearing on this week's episode of 'Soaring Into Sports.'
