NORMAN, Okla. - Wednesday afternoon, the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced the recipients of its 2025-26 PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Awards. A record 331 schools across six divisions of collegiate athletics earned an award, and the University of Northwestern Men's Golf team was among them.

While Bowdoin took home the GCAA Academic National Champion crown with the highest NCAA Division III team GPA in 2025-26, Northwestern was recognized as an All-Academic Team with a team GPA of at least 3.0. Additionally, 155 schools received Presidents Special Recognition for GPAs of 3.5 or above.

The 2026-27 Eagles will begin their season September 1st by hosting the UNW Invite at Fox Hollow Golf Club in St. Michael.
