WILMORE, Ky. - The University of Northwestern sent one athlete from the Men's team to represent UNW at the NCCAA Outdoor National Track and Field Championships on Thursday afternoon.

In one of the opening events of the meet, Remi Fagerland (Rapid City, S.D./Rapid City Central) went to work in the Javelin throw. The freshman, after finishing second at the UMAC Championship last week, turned in a 10th-place finish with a throw of 47.50m (155' 10").

At the conclusion of his event, Fagerland closed out his freshman campaign along with the 2026 Men's Track and Field season.
