GREENVILLE, S.C. - The University of Northwestern Softball Team attended the banquet that set the stage for the World Series the following day. During the banquet, the NCCAA honored each student-athlete who qualified for the Scholar-Athlete list. UNW's representation on the list was impressive, as every junior and senior by credit was honored as a Scholar Athlete. 

To qualify as an NCCAA Scholar-Athlete, student-athletes must be a junior or senior (by credit), have a GPA of 3.4 or higher, and have completed at least one full semester at their current institution.
