GREENVILLE, S.C. - For the second week in a row, the National Christian College Athletic Association Baseball Pitcher of the Week resides at the University of Northwestern. After
Dreyer Homan (Clara City, Minn./MACCRAY) won the award last week,
Solomon Kardell (Coon Rapids, Minn./Legacy Christian Academy) did so Monday afternoon.

Kardell earns the honor for the first time after a lights-out performance in a 7-0 win over Hamline. The freshman, making his first collegiate start on the mound, tossed a complete-game one-hitter, striking out 10 and walking just one in the process. It was also the first time in over two weeks the rookie had pitched, with all his previous appearances coming in relief.
Kardell and the Eagles will be back at home Wednesday for a doubleheader against Augsburg, beginning at 4:00 PM.
