GILBERT, Ariz. - Wednesday, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association released its 2025 academic awards. In addition to being named an ITA All-Academic Team, the University of Northwestern Women's Tennis team saw five of its members named ITA Scholar Athletes.

Northwestern was one of 165 Division III Women's Tennis programs to receive All-Academic Team status, which requires a team GPA for the school year of at least 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
Hannah Hyttsten (Becker, Minn./Becker),
Elise Jarchow (Luverne, Minn./Luverne),
Aby Ross (Chico, Calif./Central),
Yerly Rothwell (Reedsburg, Wis./Reedsburg Area) and
Isabelle Sullivan (Cambridge, Minn./Cambridge-Isanti) were all named ITA Scholar Athletes. All Scholar Athletes must achieve a 3.5 GPA for the current school year.
