GREENVILLE, S.C. -
Japheth Nyamari (Anoka, Minn./Anoka) and
AJ Greene (Roseville, Minn./Concordia Academy) of the University of Northwestern Men's Basketball team capped off tremendous 2024-25 seasons by being named All-North Central Region by the National Christian College Athletic Association. It is the first time either Eagle has earned All-Region recognition by the NCCAA.

Nyamari was the heart and soul of Northwestern's offense in 2024-25, leading the Eagles with 18.5 points per game (9th in NCCAA Division I). The junior also shot 80% from the free throw line and 36% from three-point range. Nyamari, who was named NCCAA DI Men's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week on November 11th, was also a First Team All-UMAC selection this season. Greene was UNW's second-leading scorer this season at 13.1 points per game. The hometown kid also grabbed 4.1 rebounds per game, dished out 49 total assists and led the team in steals with 42. The sophomore, who also received NCCAA Scholar-Athlete recognition this spring, was a UMAC All-Conference Honorable Mention selection.
