ST. PAUL, Minn.- The University of Northwestern Baseball team announced a pair of changes to their schedule on Tuesday.
Late last week, the Eagles added a game to their schedule. Previously, UNW wasn't set to open their season until March 8
th against Penn State Behrend down in the Sunshine State. However, as of last week, opening day got moved up to Wednesday, February 21
st. The Eagles were set to host Augsburg University at Reynolds Field. But on Tuesday, the Eagles announced that game has been postponed and rescheduled for Saturday, February 24
th where it will still serve as the season opener. First pitch for the Eagles' 2024 season is scheduled for 12:00pm.
The other change that was announced will effect next week's schedule. Previously, the Eagles were scheduled to play a doubleheader on the road against Gustavus Adolphus on March 20
th in St. Peter. That doubleheader has been moved up and will take place next week on Monday, February 26
th. The first game of the doubleheader will commence at 12:30pm.
