This marks the first All-Region recognition for both Klefsaas and Malamisuro, who were both First Team All-Conference selections this season as well. Klefsaas earned Second Team status as a running back after setting the program's single-season rushing record with 1,334 yards and finishing second all-time in single-season rushing touchdowns (14). At the conclusion of the regular season, he ranked eighth in all of NCAA Division III in rushing yards and ninth in rushing yards per game. The UMAC Offensive Player of the Year also led the UMAC in all rushing categories in 2024.
Malamisuro was named to the All-Region 6 Third Team as both a cornerback and a returner. The senior intercepted four passes in 2024 and broke up another six, in addition to making 42 tackles and recovering a fumble. His two punt return touchdowns tied for third in NCAA DIII and earned him UMAC Co-Special Teams Player of the Year honors.
Klefsaas and Malamisuro are the fourth and fifth Eagles to be named D3football.com All-Region since the award began in 2005. This also is the first time two Northwestern student-athletes have earned the honor in the same season.
