ST. PAUL, Minn. – University of Northwestern Head Men's Basketball Coach and Associate Director of Athletics
Tim Grosz has been newly appointed to the NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Committee.
"I am honored and excited to be appointed to the NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Committee," said Grosz. "This commitment gives me the opportunity to serve alongside other coaches and administrators as we plan for, shape, and implement the DIII Men's Basketball Championship."
Coach Grosz will begin his two-year on the national committee on September 1 of this fall and will continue through the end of August in 2025.
In his 23 years coaching at Northwestern, Grosz's Eagles have earned 438 wins: the most out of all active NCAA DIII teams in Minnesota and the only program with over 400 wins in that time span. Coach Grosz has led Northwestern to two NCCAA National Championships, winning the national title in 2010 and 2021. In the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference, Grosz has led the Eagles to 16 UMAC Regular Season Championships and 13 UMAC Tournament Championships.
