MINNEAPOLIS – University of Northwestern Men's Tennis traveled over to Baseline Tennis Center for their third match of the season on Saturday, taking on Macalester College. Freshman
Andy Stevenson (Fridley, Minn./Fridley) picked up a win in singles for UNW, his third in as many collegiate singles matches, but the Eagles fell 8-1 to the Scots.
In doubles, the Scots won each of the matches. Macalester took the #1 and #2 matches 8-4 and the #3 match 8-3.
In singles, Stevenson earned the Eagles their lone win of the day with a 6-3, 6-3 victory in the #6 match. Macalester took the other singles matches to win 8-1.
Up next, Northwestern will head to Life Time Fitness in White Bear Lake on Friday, February 17 for a match against Saint Mary's University at 6:30pm.
