ST. PAUL, Minn.- The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference announced their Players of the Week on Monday and two Northwestern student-athletes earned weekly awards. This week, Ari Schmidt (Albany, Minn./Holdingford) and Grace Strickfaden (Norwood-Young America, Minn./NYA) each earned conference honors for UNW. With these awards, the Eagles have earned 13 Conference Player of the Week honors during the 2022-23 athletic year.

Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week
Ari Schmidt (Albany, Minn./Holdingford)

• Lead Northwestern offensively with 27 kills last week (3.86 kills per set).
• Had 13 kills against Minnesota Morris and 14 against St. Benedict.

Volleyball Setter of the Week
Grace Strickfaden (Norwood-Young America, Minn./NYA)

• Recorded 49 assists (7 assists per set) to help Northwestern remain undefeated.
• Had 24 assists and 7 digs in a win over Minnesota Morris and 25 assists and 8 digs against St. Benedict.
