MILWAUKEE – The University of Northwestern men's lacrosse team took on the Milwaukee School of Engineering on the road Wednesday, falling 24-3 to the Raiders.
Sam Moses (Wasau, Wis./Wasau East) scored the first UNW goal in an unassisted effort to tie the game 1-1 early in the opening quarter.
Thomas Alderson (Moorhead, Minn./Moorhead) scored in the second off an assist from
Isaac Geurink (Wausau, Wis./Wausau East).
Bryce Schmidgall (Hancock, Minn./Hancock) scored a man-up goal in the third quarter with
Joseph Will (Rice Lake, Wis./Rice Lake) earning the assist.
Peyton La Mere (Holmen, Wis./Holmen) and
Joseph Kalski (Oak Creek, Wis./Oak Creek) each led the Eagles with three caused turnovers.
Up next for Northwestern is a return home to take on the Marian Sabres this Saturday, March 26, starting at 1:00 P.M. at Reynolds Field.
