ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference announced their Players of the Week on Monday and Northwestern student-athletes earned two of the weekly awards. The Eagles earned the offensive award for women's soccer and the setter award for volleyball. With these two awards, the Eagles have earned 25 UMAC Player of the Week honors during the 2021-22 athletic year.
WOMEN'S SOCCER OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Megan Moeller (Sheboygan, Wis./Sheboygan Christian School)
- Led Northwestern to three UMAC wins with six goals
- Scored a hat trick in win over North Central
- Converted a penalty kick vs. Rams
VOLLEYBALL SETTER OF THE WEEK
Sydney Schwitters (Clara City, Minn./MACCRAY)
- Averaged 12.88 a/s in three wins for the Eagles
- Recorded 57 assists in four-set win over Minnesota Morris
- Added 37 assists in non-conference sweep of UW-Stout
