GREENVILLE, S.C. – The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) announced Thursday the athletes earning DI outdoor track & field Scholar-Athlete honors. Between both the men's and women's teams, Northwestern had nine athletes receive these academic honors. In order to earn this honor, athletes must be of junior, senior, or graduate academic standing, and have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.40 on a 4.00 grading scale.

Victoria Giblin (Shakopee, Minn./Shakopee)
Danielle Jibben (Madison, Minn./Homeschool)
Jayln Larson (Drayton, N.D./D-V-E)
Emma Samletzka (Arlington, Minn./Sibley East Senior)
Brandhi Whittemore (Milaca, Minn./Milaca)
On the men's side, the following were named scholar-athletes:
Kyle Meinke (Victoria, Minn./Southwest Christian)
Josiah Otis (Freeport, Maine/Homeschool)
