ST. PAUL, Minn. – The University of Northwestern men's tennis team welcomed North Central University and Minnesota Morris to St. Paul for a pair of conference duals on Friday. The Eagles picked up their fourth and fifth straight wins, downing both UMAC opponents 9-0.

The Eagles recorded a "perfect match" in their 9-0 win over the Rams. Not a single game was lost by Northwestern as the Eagles blanked their opponent in both singles and doubles action.
The Rams moved to 2-12 overall, 1-6 in the UMAC following the loss.

UNW picked up where they left off in Friday's second match-up, once again winning all nine contests.
The no. 1 and 3 doubles teams of
Davis Pfaff (Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove) and
Austin Bricker (Arroyo Grande, Calif./Arroyo Grand), followed by
Colton Paskewitz (Browerville, Minn/Staples) and
Tyrus Studer (Rapid City, S.D./Rapid City Stevens) won in perfect 8-0 fashion.
Isaac Velgersdyk (Savage, Minn./Southwest Christian) defeated his opponent 6-0, 6-0 at no. 5 singles, while
Landon Ridpath (St. Cloud, Minn./St. Cloud Tech),
Davis Pfaff (Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove),
Austin Bricker (Arroyo Grande, Calif./Arroyo Grand) and
Tyrus Studer (Rapid City, S.D./Rapid City Stevens) dropped just a single game in their singles wins.
Caleb Quernmoen (Becker, Minn./Becker) picked up a 6-0, 6-2 win at no. 6 singles.
Bricker has now won eight straight singles matches (at no. 3) and
Landon Ridpath (St. Cloud, Minn./St. Cloud Tech) and
Isaac Velgersdyk (Savage, Minn./Southwest Christian) are on a 4-0 streak.
Northwestern will return to play on Wednesday, April 24 when they host Bethany Lutheran in a UMAC dual. First serve is slated for 6 p.m.
