ORLANDO, FLA. – The University of Northwestern men's tennis team continued Spring Break play in Orlando Tuesday evening, taking down Morningside College 5-4. The win moves the Eagles to 4-3 in non-conference play.

UNW began the night's play by securing two of the three doubles matches. The one team tandem of Davis Pfaff (Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove) and Austin Bricker (Arroyo Grande, Calif./Arroyo Grand) and second team of Landon Ridpath (St. Cloud, Minn./St. Cloud Tech) and Tyrus Studer (Rapid City, S.D./Rapid City Stevens) each picked up convincing wins, dropping just one and two games respectively.
Northwestern recorded three match victories in the singles portion of play to gain just enough points to clinch the 5-4 win. Bricker tabbed his second win of the night by dropping just one game in his straight sets victory at the no. three spot, while Ridpath (at the one position) and Velgersdyk (at the six position) also came away victorious.
