Box Score

ORLANDO, FLA. – The University of Northwestern women's tennis team continued their play in Orlando tonight, taking down Marywood University 9-0 to record their third consecutive win.  The victory moves the Eagles to 5-5 in non-conference action.

Box Score

UNW took all three doubles matches in quite convincing fashion to begin the evening's play.  The number three pairing of Gracie LeBrun (Pine City, Minn./Pine City) and Belinda Weddle (Rhinelander, Wis./Rhinelander) were especially impressive, cruising to an 8-0 win.

Northwestern then swept the singles matches, not dropping a single set across the six contests.  In all, the team would finish the singles portion of play by dropping just fifteen games in all.

The Eagles will return to the courts in the Florida heat on Thursday night as they take on Mount Holyoke College.  Fans can head to unweagles.com to stay up to date with UNW Women's Tennis.
