Box Score SARTELL, Minn. – The University of Northwestern women's tennis team hit the courts at Sta-Fit in Sartell for a non-conference match against the College of Saint Benedict Saturday afternoon. The Eagles fell in all three doubles matches, but pushed several singles matches to tight scores – picking up a win at the No. 4 position. The Eagles fell to the Bennies, 8-1.

Despite the score, Northwestern orchestrated a strong showing in several of Saturday's matches. At the No. 1 spot,
Nikki Paskewitz (Staples, Minn./Staples-Motley) fell in a close 7-5, 6-4 match to CSB's Tessa Rahrick.
Gracie Lebrun posted the Eagles solo win on the day in dramatic fashion. The junior dropped the first set 3-6 before coming back to win 6-2 and 12-10 in the tiebreaker.
Rachel Lukkarila (Becker, Minn./Homeschool) fell in a tight match at the no. 5 spot. After winning the first set 6-4, Lukkarila dropped a 7-6 set two and a 12-10 tiebreaker.
The Eagles will return to action on Friday, Feb. 15 when they take on St. Catherine University in non-conference play. Match time is set for 4:30 p.m. at Baseline Tennis Center in Minneapolis.
